The Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving Course (L3 CERAD) is the nationally recognised and accredited qualification, which allows drivers to drive an ambulance vehicle under blue light emergency conditions.
The course programme focuses on advanced driving techniques required to operate an ambulance safely whilst on an emergency call. It will enable the driver to identify the exemptions they are able to claim under the Road Traffic Act (Section 19) and highlights their responsibilities to other road users.
Elite ADT incorporates a variety of operational vehicles in both size and transmission (instructional crew cab vehicles), to enhance the overall delivery and individual experience. Unlike other providers, our training course also includes Rapid Response Vehicles, preventing additional courses and training having to be completed.
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an accredited certificate issued by FutureQuals, which is the preferred qualification within the NHS Ambulance Service.
Course Prerequisite - In order to confirm and approve your attendance onto the L3 CERAD Qualification, course delegates must be able to evidence that they are either contracted, employed or in the process of gaining employment with an NHS or Private Ambulance Provider which is CQC registered. For devolved nations, it is the CQC equivalent for that specific location. Course delegates are required to complete the designated CQC Training Approval Form to support registration and portfolio completion.
